manner mode

Help! I need to get my phone off of manner mode and I don't know how. I do not have a manual for my phone and everywhere I have looked I get no help. I have a lg vx4400 and the stupid side buttons always put me into manner mode. One of my six children changed my security code so now I can't just reset like I ususally do. Can anyone help? Please let me know. Thanks.

PRESS AND HOLD THE *BUTTON. THIS WILL CYCLE THROUGH MANNER MODE, SILENCE ALL, AND NORMAL.
ALSO, IF YOU HAVE THE FLIP CLOSED, PRESS AND HOLD THE VOICE ACTIVATION BUTTON (BELOW THE VOLUME BUTTONS) TO CYCLE THROUGH THE DIFFERENT MODES.
