animated wallpaper on LX5550?

hey everyone.
just got an LX5550 and have been screwing around a bit using the LG 6000 USB cable. I've gotten mp3 ringtones, midi ringtones, and unanimated wallpapers (as .bmp) to work great, but I still can't get any kind of animated wallpapers (like the ones they have in the settings/display/screens/wallpaper) to work. I've tried transferring and screwing around with animated gifs and PMD (csx) files, but to no avail. Does anyone have any advice/tips/help/suggestions? Is there any way to get them to work?
