Ok, Free Wap finally connected... but what is this?

have u actually gotten to a website? i got so frustrated tryin to get free wap on my verizon 8910 that i payed 5 dollars to get it activated thinking that once it was activated i could try a different IP adress and port, but it doesnt work. i can only get online through verizons IP and port. it doo doo

yea i have gotten to google... and changed my homepage. It just sucks at connecting i tells ya. But what started it to at least try to work was changing the host info.
But now what usually ends up happening is that the little N in the corner just flashes for a split second then the browser just times out.

have u tried changing your web idle time with ##BROWSER end? or maybe after u push teh web button hold 0 to go to the web menu then settings. try changing the "keypress timeout" and "Connection timeout." i had the same problem when i got my wap activated through verizon.

can u help me with the wap, i got a gateway and put it in and whe i try to connect it just keeps loading the blue arrows and has the yellow n at the top and after a while says server not responding
can u explain in detail how to get the 0 settings?

i dunno abotu 8610's but with the 8910 holding 0 takes u to web alerts, i do it to skip connecting. i cant help much with the server not responding thing cuz my phone said that when i tried free wap.

Thank you criddle for your response, what exactly would i want the time-out value set at? turned off or on?

since you claimed your connection timed out, change the settings so that u dont. if that doesnt work, change yoru web idle time with ##browser end
