Charge Time

Do you guys know how long it takes for the Sidekick II to fully charge(from a total uncharged battery)?
I've been charging mine for 4 hours and the lightning bolt still hasn't disappeared(UserGuide says that this is supposed to disappear from the display and also the levels of the battery display should stop animating when it is fully charged). Thanks.

Well it should be just over 4 hours but remember also that if you unplugged it at any time, even if it was fully charged, then plugged it back in, it will still show the lightning bolt for 2 additional hours. I found that weird but it was listed right there in the manual. Not sure if this applies to you but I just thought I'd mention it.

Just got a sidekick 2 today, can you damage the battery by overcharging?

Nope, the sidekick will know when to stop and the charger does too.
