I have a GX 25 and bought two ringtones from vodafone that say are mmf. but they are real tones with the real music, as far as I Know mmf. are polifonic.

In your post you explain how to convert mp3 to smaf. Does the GX 25 read smaf.??

SMAF is MMF...

If you have AMR, here is a tool to convert it to WAV:

I dont know about the GX 25...

lowrider, i used that smaf yamaha converter thing, and it converted a wav fine, but i cant open it on my gx30. do you have any ideas to why?

what settings does the wav file need to be? how many khz, mono or stereo? size limit?

Well, I am quite new in this matters, just copied programs until it worked...

Anyway, when WAVs dont work I just open and save over the same file with this program, then they work...
