CSK Phone Hiss

Howdy: Is there supposed to be a background hiss when using the CSK phone or do I have a Friday/faulty model? Thanks.

The hiptops/sidekicks usually have a buzzing noise caused by the Radio in the device.

Do the Following before calling CS:
- Put your Sim card in another Device and see if it does the same thing during a call (You can do this at ANY t-mobile store. Pourpose of this is to see if this is a network problem or a hardware problem)
- If it is your device perform a hard reset (you got a data plan right?) cause it will whipe out all your data.
- If the above Has failed get the device exchanged (if still under warranty) and state you have done the troubleshooting that I outlined above.
