I am so confused, I'm a nextel user, I use to have a t616 but my my mom got this weird TM150, my father ordered the usb cable pc>phone connectivity and in the package it came with a so called "GX Series" cd. My father says the drivers are suppose to be compatible with the phone and the software is in there too, but I think this is a BS cd, because all I see are 2 versions of drivers 30 and 32 and some modem drivers that's it.

I havent messed around with t-mobile in ages ever since my t616 which I used bluetooth to transfer things around, but I can't seem to find my bluetooth dongle, so I have to use cable.

Can anyone help direct me to USB driver and pc transfer software for this phone? I have no idea what to do outside of nextel.

Thanks in advance

Tell them to trade the phone in he you are under the 14 day trial period. The phone is a piece of crap and nobody on this forum seems to have much input into the Sharp TM150.

my mom picked this POS phone

Looks like you got the data kit for the GX30/32 which is not the same phone. But the USB cable doesn't add any value anyway for transfering stuff - use the SD card instead. The only time you need the cable is if you want to use the phone as a modem. Then you need to buy the TM150 data suite from T-Mobile or wherever.

Wow! I was planning on picking this phone up next month. I want it for its large crisp screen for wap browsing, cam & sd card. Why is this phone a POS? Can anyone who dislike this phone give me details please. Thanks

i actually like the phone...gonna pick mine up tomorrow..
asthetically, its not the best phone.. but for clarity, ease of use, camera.... its actually a good phone.i've used the WAP browser on the phone and it is very fast (at least in my case)... and yes, there isn't much programs for the phone....but in my case i don't really need all that stuff.... what i was surprised with was how light the ×××× thing is... even with the battery in it...just my two cents... but to each his own.... i would pick up the tm200, but that is just out of my league...

I have had the phone for months and am extremely satisfied with it's performance. Takes great pics, super nice screen, sound quality is good, reception is good in my area (have yet to drop a call). Try the phone for youself.

No one here thinks it is a POS :-)

Yeah, I've got this phone, solid voice performance, good reception at my home which is good for me and better than a lot of other phones I tried (my sidekick is the worst).
Also, I spoke to Sharp and they apologized that the TM150 support web site with all the downloads wasn't done yet but it will be real soon now. That'll mean that you can buy any Sharp USB cable off eBay or wherever - like the one for the GX30 - and download the drivers and handset manager for free. I've had a GX32 in the past and still have the cable so that's what I want to do rather than buy the connection kit. To behonest though, I've been using the SD card for everything and I'd only need to use the cable for a modem connection.

i used to not care much for the tm150 but now im starting to warm up to it. i might buy it for a good price. with the srp dropping to 199.99 before rebates it makes it more attractive to me, and easier to sell. i am used to the phones features and settings now that i have used the store's demo tm150. the battery life is better than i thought if you dont take a crapload of pics. its a little larger, but i have big hands and im tired of long conversations with my teeny nokia. no bluetooth or anything but i have yet to use my bluetooth on my nokia.
