LG Content Bank - Windows XP Error.

My girlfriend has an LG G4011 phone. I bought a USB cable from eBay and installed the drivers just fine. Later, I got my hands on a several copies of LG Content Bank from a UK LG site.
The PC Sync Program seems to run just fine. No problems at all. However, when I load up CB, often I get an Error with XP that shuts the program down that moment. Sometimes I am able to the connect to the phone, sometimes I am not. The COM port is set correctly, so what is the problem?
Any advice would be much enjoyed! Thanks!

do you have Service pack 2 installed?

No. I dislike SP2.
Do I need it?
