I was just wondering if its possible to transfer files other than music on the Ipod 4th gen? Should i be able to transfer the music and files by drag & drop or only via Itunes?

When you have connected your iPod to iTunes, go to the iPod's options and check the box that says "Enable Disk Use." This will make the iPod another drive under "My Computer" and you can make your own folders and drag and drop any file you want. This is, of course, assuming you are running a PC and not a Mac.
