err - why make a side-opening case when it looks like the open cover will get in the way when you need to operate the thumbboard?

Does anyone make one that flips open vertically?

I myself would prefer a vertical opening metal one if it can be done. I've seen the leather ones that open vertically and think they're nice - but leather's never been my style.

If I ever did go leather: that Covertec would probably be it.

In regards to the "skin" type cases, I've had a few for my phones. The material's generic name is "kraton". If you google around you may find something overseas.
