MPX220 Firmware/Speakerphone/Camera ?

Forgive me if this has already been discussed before, but I have a question on the MPX220.

My husband and I each got an MPX220 phone from a corporate Cingular store yesterday. We really like the phones, but we noticed that my husband's phone has the .325 firmware, while mine has version 1.03.

The camera on my husband's phone does not work properly when it's set to the highest resolution. The photos come out black with white lines, while the photos on my camera (w/the same resolution) come out just fine.

On my phone, I cannot seem to get speakerphone to work at all. Speakerphone works just fine on my husband's phone.

My question is...do you think these problems can be fixed with future firmware upgrades, or are they hardware issues? Both boxes came with orange stickers, both have the same date on the outside label, but my husband's phone is older when I look at the firmware/hardware versions.

You can ( Exchange your phone or Try this ) copy each other Registry and importing to each other by using (Smartione Registry) or you can download my phone registry (Cingular 1.30 Registry) at this place:

The camera issues you are having are resolved with up to date firmware. The speakerphone issue is very likely a manufacturers defect. Take the phones back to where you purchased them and exchange them. Alternatively, call 18008011101 and talk with Cingular Exchange by Mail to get them replaced via Fed Ex delivery to your door.
