I was just reading in the local paper about how some people are making a virus to go on phones now. Since we have a smart phone I think it would put it at more risk. I am just wondering is there a upgrade or protection for are phone?

Most of them now are for Symbian / Palm based. None that I know of yet for MS Smartphone... correct me if i am wrong

but with MS there is always a possibility...

Trend Micro now has a virus protection software for Smartphones and currently they are offering it for free

All the SmartPhone viruses are for Symbian OS based Series 60 platform phones. There have been about 4 in the last year. The first Carib was just a proof of concept virus (it can be done), then there was Skulls, MetalGear, and now the new one Lasco.A & Lasco.B.

I find it funny because if my old phone (Nokia 3650) is a SmartPhone then my 5600 is a genius.
