so i have T-Mobile.. and I am having problems setting up my pop3 gmail account on my treo600.. i can receive emails.. but i cant send any.. i get an error message..
anyone else experiencing this??? how do i fix it???

I, too, was angry when I discovered this...
The built-in Mail app in the Treo 600/650 do support the reciept of Gmail, but not outgoing. This is due to a email protocol the free Mail program by PalmOne does not support.
My patented solution to this is to:
1) Recieve mail every 15 minutes through the Mail application.
2) Use this website:
http://prasystem.uni.cc/gmail/
to send mail. See, for me sending ASAP is not essential... recieving IS. In a pinch, you could always use SMS.
The only way around this is to purchase Snappermail Enterprise ($60). I have heard that using a SMTP server from earthlink or another ISP will allow you to send outgoing messages. My fellow posters will excuse me if I cannot
recall the other email programs.
