A few hofoers tried to get howard to make a iPod forum, but it failed, because we already have an audio forum.

Anyway, I use some behind the neck JVC headphones from the Apple Store. Atleast no one knows that I have an iPod until I open the case of my iPod armor.

Homigod. I love my iPod.

eww those thingies look weird

i thought the static was cause of the connectors in the ipod itself? ive had a similar problem with the earbuds on my other mp3 player though.

130 for earbuds? thats like 100 euros... jeez

do they cancel out the noise of the engine when you cut the grass? or have you never used it while cutting grass?

Posted by: vyse

i want them inner ear ones but DAM/N 40 BUX for earphones? you gots to be buggin

Posted by: theantidote

I have an iPod but I feel so preppy wearing those stock headphones, It seems like I'm rubbing it in peoples faces that I have an iPod (even though most people do nowadays). So I just wear normal headphones.

What did you do with the ipod headphones? You got new ones from apple for free?

Posted by: Bumpon10s

I wear phillips headwraps, much better bass response. I sold the iPod earbuds right away, most of you saw my auction...

Posted by: pd0x

within your one year warranty (or your apple care extended) apple will send you free replacements for all your accessories as long as you request them...i have gone thru the original set, the first replacement, and they just delivered the second replacement set 2 days ago.

If you are looking for some good iPod forums try ipodlounge.com, ehmac.ca, or redflagdeals.com. The apple earbuds are not great but I bought the Griffin EarJams for cheap off potentpodables.com and help a lot.

Posted by: Big Calhoun

It depends...most times I use the original ear buds, so that's how I voted. When I go places that require a ghetto pass, I use my Sony over-the-necks.

Why would you :

a) bump an old thread for no reason

b) only to come here and promote other sites

Posted by: crash-o-matic

Do the iPod earbuds even sound good?

Posted by: xtremein motion

eh there okay. i started using some phillips after my earbud broke

http://www.target.com/gp/detail.htm...asin=B0001OY2W2

they're okay i guess

i need wireless headphones now

Sorry I'm new to the site, just trying to help out and I didn't look at the date :S

Are you kidding me?!

That's AWESMOE! I'm gonna have to call 'em up...my little headsets have taken a beating!

Posted by: 91RS

Most of the time I use the original earbuds. They are the best sounding earbuds I've ever heard, and they are actually comfortable. I occasionally use a "regular" pair of headphones.

Posted by: Aurora

I just bought AppleCare on my iPod...I've only read good things about their support, and I hate babying my iPod so much.

Now I can get freggin' accessory replacements for many years to come!

Posted by: HowEver

And yet...

1) others like Aurora have already found this thread valuable (again);

and

2) the other sites mentioned are extremely useful.

How much does Applecare cost for an iPod?

Posted by: jar311

I was juat about to ask the same thing.

Posted by: HowEver

How hard is it to look it up? And it's different for each iteration.

Posted by: Aurora

I got if for $47 as a student...in my humble opinion, it's a great idea. I got it on my Power Mac and never really thought about getting it on my iPod. But after hearing that Dey has replaced her iPod with absolutely no hassle, I went ahead and got it. $50 is a lot of money, but $300 for a new iPod is more money.

Posted by: xGuasaGuasax

I got an iPod but not thru apple. I know that with other apple products, you can purchase the apple care up until the point when the original warranty runs out. Is this the same case with the iPod?

Posted by: Aurora

Yeah...I think that's the case with any Apple product. You can get the Apple Care plan irregardless of where you purchased the product during your standard warranty period.

Posted by: 91RS

Even though I didn't pay a cent for my iPod, I think I'll get the Applecare for it. I thought about getting it for my Mini, but it was to expensive and it won't be going anywhere so I hope I'll be fine.

Posted by: Ryan1524

i use the E3c. wearing the white ones are just asking to get mugged. besides, it's nice being able to listen to music as loud as i want without worrying that the guy next to me is annoyed by the noise, it's more discreet. it's also good to wear in a boring class.

Posted by: eyesonly6587

i use the sony ex71

yea i use shure e2c.... and shure are great.... but still u can try the other high end phones like er6i etymotic

Posted by: SuperCM

Hrm... I wonder if I can get AppleCare for the iPod Shuffle that came from TD Canada Trust? I mean, there's no receipt.

Posted by: SuperCM

Pfft... Nevermind, AppleCare for iPod, no matter which model, is $89 CAD. Might as well buy a new Shuffle instead for $41 more.

Posted by: Ryan1524

^true, unless you want more than 512MB or 1GB of space.

Posted by: WiggyFife

I use the Sony MDR-EX81's (black)... Very nice...

Posted by: Shadowlee

I use the standard white ipod ones. Except they are now grey

Stupid Apple - whatever possessed them to make everything in white?

Posted by: jdhore1

I use the iPod ear buds when walking, jogging, stuff like that...And at home when listening to music or on a train/plane i use my Bose noise-cancelling headphones

Posted by: alyssaf

I use the apple in-ear headphones. I love them. Soooooo much more comfortable than the original ones that came with the ipod.

Posted by: icq2000b

i saw on the news before that White Ipod Headphones are a magnet for muggers.

Posted by: alyssaf

Depends on where you live. I think I'm fine where I live - unless muggers hang out in the woods now...

I don't walk down the street with them on when I go places. I mostly use mine at work (well I will in a few weeks... long story) and when I'm cleaning at home.

Posted by: MapleLeafs

these panasonic ones, cept mine are silver in the part that these are blue.

Igot my first pair two years ago, and when those got worn out i bought the same ones again. They have really great bass response for earbuds, and i dont like in ear ones cuz you cant use those when workin or you cant hear wats going on around you

Posted by: xtremein motion

whats up with these old thread bumps

anyway, koss behind the ears with volume control

Posted by: vermontcellboy

$300 Shures, that's crazy.. I don't have iPod, I use my stock MPx200 headphones or Aiwa HP-CN6s with my radio.
