LG 6100 BitPim Crash!

I've read through the forums, and installed the futuredial drivers and newest Bitpim (0.7.24?) for my 6100. When I start to upload onto my pc, it uploads the index files and the first couple pictures, and then it crashes in XP giving me the classic "send error report" message. I have gotten my phone to transfer fine on a friends computer (he was running bitpim 0.7.18), and i've tried different versions of bitpim, and even selecting a different model phone for the settings and the drivers (my 6100 worked with my friend's 6000 settings and drivers) , but it always crashes in the middle of transferring, regardless of pictures, calendar, contacts, whatever.. Has any one else had this problem? PLEASE HELP ME!!

Have you tried sending one file at a time?
I am not sure why you would need to send index files to your pc.

well it reads the indexes before it starts loading the pictures, but i went into the filesystem and tried to expand the cam menu, and it crashed...

Maybe something is different on the 6100. Pictures on the 7000 are in dload/img directory.

hack314 - try reverting to version 7.23 ... I was having problems earlier this evening with 7.24 and reverting to the previous version seems to have helped. With version 7.24, if I would attempt to read ALL phone data (all 4 categories), it would error out when it began to read in the Contacts. Note that I could read Contacts if it was the only category selected. This behavior does not happen with version 7.23, at least not in my case. My phone was recently flashed to V2 of the S/W - I'm assuming this had nothing to do with the problems I was having, but you never know.
