Have you signed up for Yahoo! premium mail service. $19/year and includes support for POP access. Without it you can't use VM or any other mail client with your Yahoo! account.

Ardy, did you really get it work? Or was it a fluke? And to think I just switched from Yahoo! to GMail finally, mainly for POP3 access.

Oreo,
It really does work I have the "national incoming 800 plus" plan. I just go to------> net-----> e-mail-----> yahoo mail. Then I login and bingo it tells me how many new mails I have and so forth.
The speed is not that great, but when I'm away from home it works like a charm, at least for reading my mails. Answering them on a regular i90 phone pad it's a different sotry, but still duable.

I want to switch to cingular because of the Treo 650 and the gsm international factor, but I really am happy with nextel.
Cheers,

i could log on and check it too from any handset. the reason i was asking about versamail is because it logs on and checks/downloads it automaticallyat set time intervals (i.e. every 5 minutes). i love that feature, no need to log on and wait..... you just pick up your handset, tap the vm button and there is your inbox.

Ardy is not using it for POP access. He's simply using a WAP browser of some sort.
