Music in Stereo??

HI,
I have an MPx220 and I have a set of earphones that have the 2.5 mm jack. But when I plug it in and play some music I only get sound through one of the earphones. I know that the earphones work because I used them on other things.
Is there some way that I can play my music in stereo??

The MPx220 uses a non-standard earphone jack. This is because the port has to handle two channel audio as well as a microphone while normal headphones usually only handle the two channel audio, and normal headsets only handle one channel audio and the microphone. You need the special headphones for it, otherwise you won't get stereo audio.

Shouldn't anything with a 2.5 mm jack be able to handle the information being transferred??
And if not what set of earphones should I get so I can listen to my music in stereo??

I have the HS-120 and the sound is excellent. Those are specially for the MPX220 and you get full stereo sound.
