Treo 650 status lignt goes off after fully charged

After it is fully charged it first gives a solid green light when still plugged into the charger. If I leave the charger on for a while longer the solid green light will go off and no status light will show even if the charger is connected. If I remove the charger the light still does not blink green to show that the phone is on as yours does. Phone however does work ok as with other functions. If I do a soft reset, the green light does come back on. Except it blinks at 3 times the normal rate! I have to remove/reinsert the battery to return the phone to normal working conditions. I am hoping that this means the phone will have to be replaced.
Anyone have any idea whats going on?
