CDM 9900 troubles

Red light blinks all the time. But no message. Anybody know why and how to turn it off?

Screen keeps seizing up and / or showing a yellow box over everything. Only way to get out of it is to turn phone off and back on. But anybody know why and how to prevent?

When looking at a picture in full size it would jump down to thumbnail size immediatly after opening. Some one here suggested removing all from the scheduler. Seems to have worked but does that now mean I cannot use the scheduler?

Want to Bitpim but afraid it'll mess up the phone even more. Anybody using Bitpim with their 9900?

Please help

Did you install any GIN programs? Some are reported to cause problems.

Also, DO NOT use BitPIM with the 9900. It is primarily designed for LG phones.

Search for the Audiovox/Toshiba Asura program instead.

I have not installed anything. Phone is as it came.

Okay I won't install Bitpim. I will look into Audiovox/Toshiba Asura program.

But still, why the blinking light and freezing up and when can I use my Scheduler again?

HI. I have had this happen with the red light. I go into 'messages' and check the voice mail and text message area, even if none r there, then light will stop blinking.

I also get the stupid blinking red light. Can't get rid of it - even after listening to my messages!

I tried dvdrules suggestion posted 1-16 and it works. The red light goes away when you go in to messages and then leave.
