They cant get free ringtones or get the secret applications (http://www.popsci.com/popsci/how2/a...1010119,00.html) anymore?

that sucks, i wasnt able to get the delelopers key before Danger changed it. dammit.

yeah if you didnt get one before youre out of luck. i'm oneof those unlucky few. i made a big post about it over at developer.danger.com

they can't honestly think that everyone using the key wanted to develop. they wanted out of the silly restrictions tmobile put on the sidekick. i could download any ring tones/games/apps i wanted to on my old POS LG5350, but i can only download from the 15 or so tmo provides on my $300 SKII..

is unlocked code the same as device key, cuz i am sapose to recive an unlock code for my sk2. if so call up t-miobile and ask them for the unlock code for you sk2

an unlock code is for using the phone with any carrier to make calls and text message and is gotten from tmobile.. a dev key is for putting unapproved applications on your SK and is gotten from Danger

no way! you had the same phone as me!! hehe.. yea, that thing ruled! however, i am a lucky fool... i signed up asap cuz i knew or had a feeling what it could do and glad i did..

but hopefully you will get one eventually.. they gotta open the doors again soon..

yep. the only ringtones/games/apps you can use are the ones in the tmobile catalog that you have to pay for... thats the way it is unless danger decides to start giving out dev keys again
