im using a usb cable(com5) on my phone and the PC Sync works but when i go to use contents bank it only uses Com1(serial port).
is there and adapter for the usb cable that has it conect to the serial port. i been looking but im not sure what it would be called so i know if im lookin for the right thing. any one know or have any ideas on how to help me....

I think something is confused here

if you are using a cable plugged to the USB port and it show up as com5 and syncs to the phone

then nothing is wrong with the hardware you have

if 'contents bank' wants com1

another cable is NOT going to change anything

you need to change 'content banks ' settings to see/use com5

either somehere in the system folder thru the control panel

or by directly editing the program data in the registry

somewhere there is a entry that means for 'contents bank' to use com1 ... change that to com5

i found a config folder that said port=1 and i changed it to port=5 but when i start teh program up it resets to port=1 again. do you know the correct way to edit it because i never did this before.

any idea on how to download pictures that the camera took.. it only says upload..........

also there is no way to upload alert tones is there ?
