how can i change a mp3 file to a mid file. i just want to change the file extension.
i just dont understand the other fourms.

i assume your in winxp? open my computer, browse to the folder with the file. click tools, folder options, view tab, uncheck the "hide file extensions for known file types". press okay. right click on the file, rename. reverse procedure to get rid of the extensions.

You people CANNOT be this clueless! My Computer -> Tools -> Folder Options. Select "Show Hidden File Names" or somethin similar to that. Go back, and change the extension of the file you want. If the extension is "hidden" then you won't be able to change it. YOU'D JUST BE RENAMING IT! This is ridiculous....
