Cable Problem...HELP!

I have an LG L1200 and just bought a cable for it. The first time it worked fine, the charge light came on and I was able to transfer a couple images and ringtones. But I tryed it again and when I plug it in nothing happens, no charge light, software won't connect, nothing happens.

But if I take it and like bend it and wiggle it around a little bit Everyone once in a while the charge light will flash on. Did my cable just break or whats the deal, maybe it got stepped on, but this is weird. Anyone have this problem?

At this rate, if you keep wiggling it, i would not be surprised if you damaged the recharging pins.

Oh I stopped that, I tryed a friends cable and it works fine. I think mine got stepped on and it bent the pins in the USB cable plug. All my other chargers work fine so its not on the phone side.

can i ask what software you used? and can i get a copy of it? because all the ones i tried do not work.
