KX414 screensaver - how to make it move?

Other posts have alluded to the screensaver as picture files, and that's fine. But the built-in screensavers are crude animations, sort of like animated GIF's, which, I'm guessing, they cannot be, since all files have to be in the PNG format.
Using a smaller picture just centers it on the screen, it doesn't bounce it around.
Is there a way to make an animated homemade screensaver with 3-4 different pictures, or, at the very least, get a small image to dance around?
