HI,

I was hoping someone could help me with this issue:

I have an LG5450 I have the USB cable and the latest BitPim software. I'm able to connect with my phone using the "Filesystem" tab. I have been sucessfull at downloading the pics I have taken with my phones cam to my pc, so I know my connection is fine.

The issue I'm having is uploading wallpaper to my phone. I have followed the tutorials to the letter. I have renamed the pic to "body" and have created the ".desc" file for the pic making sure I have the hex values for the combined total of bytes for the pic and the desc file entered. The pics extention ".jpg" has been placed in the desc file and the file was numbered in relation to the other wallpapers I have. all have been uploaded to the phone in the "Filesystem". I power the phone off and back on again I navigate to the "do more" section of the phone where the wallpapers are kept. I can see the name of the new paper I created but when I try to view it it just says "Loading" with an hour glass and the picture never does load. The same happens when I try adding a ringtone to my phone.

What am I doing wrong?
Please someone help me I'm going out of my mind trying to do this!!

I had the same problem...then I started modifying the sizes of my pics to the same size of the pics the phone comes with.

120 x 131 pixels

mine worked fine after that.

go to "resize canvas" in photo editor (or the equivalent)

I solved the problem....For some reason my computer uploads the picture file to the phone with the file extention. I found a neat little program that allows me to rename files without an extention and this works great!!
