hey does anyone have a broken 8900 with a good screen? my ribbon cable broke last week and all i need to do is buy the screen assembly, all i really want are my phone numbers and send out my pictures, so i was thinking if sumone could sell me juss the "screen" or the whole phone itself...

I think you can download the phonebook from your cellphone even if the flex ribbon is broken.

yea but i also want to get sum pictures out and the only way of doing that is by sending them to my email
and to do that i need a screen :-( this sux

just buy the cable off of ebay for $5 and download your pics with brewsky/bitpim.

the ribbon and lcd are two seperate parts.
