My battery will only last for one day...i don't know if i'm using the phone extremely much or if there is something wrong with the battery? I've read that the battery should last for 2-3days with normal usage...what is normal usage?

thats about right if you leave it on all day.

mine has GPRS always connected for my blackberry style email, few calls. I get about a day, turn it off at night, lasts 2-3 days.

You might be leaving programs running in the background.

Did you have your Bluetooth on? Usually, it's the main problem for your power consumptions.

I think you might probably have applications running in the background. To make sure it doesn't, install Sman

no bluetooth and i use handyday 2005 to close all programs running in the background.

I would ask for an exchange. If it was used...that might be the reason. Or if they don't except exchanges, just send it in to get it fixed

so you think the battery is the problem? Then maybe I should go visit a service center

Posted by: neas

thanx for the help

thing is, it could be the battery or a switch inside the phone. It could be both.

it doesnt consume that much battery
the amount of battery it consumes is negligeable

unlike GPRS which is power hungry
