please help with 8910 for bell

hey
ok i've read and read... and all i can do is get the pics off my camera phone... can't upload any wallpaper or ringtones....
anyone have any guides that tell you how to do the wallpaper and ringtones??? and not the "free" wap way.. cuz i've read up that its not all that free.. and when i tried to configure it .... it would never connect... so anyone that can help .. that would be greatly appreciated .
