This is what I heard from a friend in the US...is this true? Something dealing with the fact that client's leave once unlocked?

i didnt know you could unlock the sidekick two's......but nobody else supports them other than the people who sell them. so you really wouldnt be able to use them would you? if so that would make my freind with cingular very happy

Well it will work to make and receive calls but once you get the "waiting for activation" loop without being able to bypass it (by pressing shift + Menu + L). If that happens you're screwed.
