i had a 8600, nice phone, but a pain in the behind. low ringer volume (even at max) never could get wap to work, locked up at odd times, bad reception, and finally, yesterday when i power cycle'd my phone cuz of the extended network thing, phone gets a error at boot and locks up. im going to get this phone changed as my agent said it is discontinued.
i want to see the community's opinion as to what is a good phone to get. i have been thinkin of the 8900/9900 as ive seen its popular, but i want to see what else is nice. Im lookin for sumthin that has a camera, atleast useable in bitpim to add tones, wallpaper doesnt matter to me. thanks for any comments, and as always, HoFo r0x!

I like the 8600 because it's so small, you can't beat size when it comes to cellphones. I know the ringer is low but that's what the vibrate feature is for.

Just in case you don't get the phone changed or fixed, I'm willing to buy it from you if it's broken.
