I have been trying all day with my phone, but I just cant seem to figure it out. I changed all the ports and everything, but I cant figure out how to change the homepage.

What else am I supposed to do, I already figured out the ##browser thing, and I changed everything to a different IP/port, but when i reset the phone, and go to mobile web, it says call *611 for this option (or something like that).

What else is there to know/do?

Please help, Thanks

I hate to tell you, but I think you are out of luck. I originally got the 9100 and tried every proxy you could think of (literally over 20 different ones, including running one on my own computer).

I got fed up and swapped the phone for th e LG VX6100. My first try worked and now I have free WAP.

Sorry for the bad news.

changing your homepage doesnt do any good, i did it but verizon must have found some way to disable any wap acces unless its through their IP and port. but wap with verizon doesnt do any good anyway. i bought it just to see what it does. costs five dollars a month and uses your minutes. its pointless. u cant download ringtones or pictures or games. (for free anyway) im not sure its possible to get games on the 8910 besides get it now. even with a cable. theres no way to run them. but im sure teh phone has the capability
