8900 going crazy

for some odd reason....my 8900 turns itself off and freezes on the "telus" screen each time i connect my cable to it. this has suddenly changed when i used brewsky/deleted a picture on my phone (through the phone itself, not bitpim, or anything).

please let me know if anyone has had the same problem

what's bitpim or brewski? are those softwares? i'm sorry, but i'm new to all this technology...

My phone does that if it's not closed when you connect the cable to it. Just close the phone and don't touch it while connecting it to the computer.
