Hi everyone,
I'm still in the stone ages when it comes to organization...still carrying around my paper calendar/schedule. I've done some research and I REALLY like the Zire 72- especially that Bug Me software, kinda like the Tungsten T3, but not really sure which one, overall, to buy. I've read some opinions here and hundreds of reviews elsewhere...Can you say "tired eyes"...lol.
I recently bought a v710 and would really like a device that I can pair with it. I have a PC Desktop and a iBook G4, so I need something I can use with both. I'm hesistant to let go of my "paper" but it's bulky and I'm beginning to tire of it. I'll give you all a little info about me so that hopefully you can give me some input on which I should choose:

I'm a psychologist in a school district, so I have a lot of daily appointments , lots of meetings (needless to say lots of paper w/notes EVERYWHERE), I have a daughter and would like an easier way to keep up with both of our schedules, need to check my email frequently...that's how my district communicates...not really sure if any of our phones really work, use mine as a paper weight..lol. I guess I'm really no different from most people, I just want to organize my life as much as possible. I don't really need the camera, as I have one on my v710 and a stand alone digital camera, but not against having one on my organizer.

Having said all this, which is probably way too much info...sorry...which device do you all recommend?

Treo 600. I travel frequently and have 4 kids so organization is a must for me. The Treo works great especially with the beyond contacts program from Dataviz. And it works great with Outlook. Good luck.

Thanks for the input vnicastro, I'll look into the Treo 600. Appreciate the help. Any other opinions are welcome as well.

I have both a T3 and the Zire 71 and the Zire for some reason is more stable than the T3 is. Don't get me wrong--the multimedia on the T3 is great, not to mention the bluetooth, extra screen realestate, and 64mb (little over 52mb usable) are pluses. For some reason though, every other time I hotsync, it crashes and I have to reset (soft, not lose all my info!) and then it syncs fine. I've had the T3 for about 7 months or so and the sync problem started 2 months ago. It's more an annoyance then anything. I haven't heard anyone having the same problem I've had, but I figured I'd give you a heads up.

I'm not familiar with the Zire 72, but the screen is a beauty. I believe it has 32mb of mem and bt (I think???). Also, both the T3 and the Zire 72 can use the Palmone Wifi card.

Thanks candygogo...I'm kinda leaning towards the Zire 72...I think. Yea, it does have BT and I LOVE the Bug Me program for the Zire 72...my biggest problem is "paper control," taking notes in meetings and then misplacing one of the millions of notepads that I have...

Ah...it's like that at first--making the transition from paper to pda. Even after playing with pdas for almost 10 years I still find myself jotting a note down every now and then.
