Bluetooth Shortcut on the screen went away

I had this Bluetooth short cut when I got my i-mate Jam a week ago. For past two days that icon has gone. It was quite handy to have that icon, but now since it's gone it's pain in the neck to find the Bluetooth settings, by going to the settings and enabling disabling the bluetooth for speaker control.
Could any one please tell me how to get it back. thanks
