M55 Faceplate Modification

Hi everyone,
I want a new faceplate for my m55, and found a nice auction on ebay, but it says in the auction that
"A slight modification is required to othe faceplates in order to use them"
I heard a while back that someone had bought a faceplate (not sure from where) and it stoped the signal, like it blocked the antena. I dont want this problem, what do i do?
