Hi all, I 've read several of the forum threads and I'm still having problems. I recently purchased a p900, unfortunatey it didn't come with the pc suite cd, so I downloaded the newest version from the SE website. When I have the phone on the syncstation and connected to my pc via usb and try to do something I get the following messsage: "no phone defined, please connect and define your phone first." Unfortunately Icant add a phone and theres no list of phones in the options either and can't do much else. I did disable the internet and turn off the firewall cause I have WIN XP SP2 but nothing works. Somebody please help. Thanks

If you really need the CD, I can make a copy of the P900 PC Suite for you and send it over.

Have you check off the right com port? Click on phone connection (the little two way arrows on task bar). Click on the port that says "cable". Hope that help.

Hi all, thanks for the suggestions but still no luck.
Heres the exact nature of the problem. In device manager, the USB setting is inabled for the syncstation under USB, but when I do plug in the syncstation, something pops up under OTHER DEVICES as a usb serial port with the exclamation point in front.
The other problem is, when I open up the <-//-> properties and select a com port it just wont enable, it stays at a not connected status

you need the p900 cd cause for the P900 and P910, it installs 2 drivers. 1 USB and the other one is a USB to Serial emulator for the PC Suite program.
