it states that it can unlock the bluetooth limitation on the GX-30~

P.S. can be used with the data cable only

Has anybody tried this? I'm slightly reluctant to load this without any confirmation. I only have one phone :P

Okay... I tried it. And it can't seem to see my phone. I've got it set to transfer data over the cable - the phone manager software works - but the patch keeps asking me to connect the phone.

Is there any documentation around somewhere? The site the download is from is in taiwanese or chinese or something, so I have no idea how to read it hehe.

A slight... possible problem. I don't seem to be able to perform any outgoing communications at the moment. The phone tells me I have call barring activated, and yet I've told the phone many times to not bar any calls. Internet, SMS and voice calls are all barred.

I'm not sure if this program is the cause. But it's the only thing I can think of. I'll be going into vodafone tomorrow and asking them about it, and probably the firmware upgrade too.

Just a note of caution.

Well, the link you have there is a free personal web hosting site.
The PCHome free personal web hosting in Taiwan is similar to yahoo free personal web hosting in US. I was thinking about helping you to do a light translation. However, I couldn't find any related document under that personal web folder you linked. (And even the file you linked is gone.) Sorry about that.
