Tungsten T-T616

I`mtrying to check mine mails on Tungsten through T616,installed driver and after checking Versamail it is showing taht I am connected to Fido. after short while it will sho: unable to connect to pop.mail.yahoo.ca. Please verify your server name entry.
But same account setting is working smoothly if I connect to internet through BT of mine T39 ( certainly I have to change phone on Palm ).
What can be wrong?
