Removing the sim on a weekly basis

Ok, I'm using a SKII and I plan to toggle my sim between it and a unlocked v551 from motorola. Is there a good way unlatch the top plastic corner that covers the sim card? Everytime I go to unsnap it, I keep thinking I'm going to rip that rubber. It seems like a really bad design or it's tougher than it appears. If i'm doing this once or twice a week I can see some issues arising.

Any suggestions?

Well.. I bet the SK II (like most Mobile Devices) was not designed to do weekly SIM Swaps. There is no easier way to remove the paddle there unless of cuourse you want to purchase those colored bumpers for the SKII and keep the original ones in the unfortunate case you require a device exchange.

Ok... Thx for the reply. I kinda figured there was no easier way... I wish there was a way to duplicate sim cards, that'd be the answer to my situation.

I'd be extremely careful pulling off those bumpers. I pulled mine off for the first time to "snip the clip" to avoid future possible camera issues (ribbon cable under pressure from bumper clip), and when I pulled off the bumper (carefully) the part of the casing where the clip goes in broke off. This is because the two halves of the casing come together here and the spot where the clip fits in is very thin. I can see where the bumper being pulled off so much would cause breakage of the points where the bumper attatches.

T-Mo stores have a SIM duper, it's a small device (resembles a calculator). they would probably only ask you why you want to dupe the card so just make up some BS.

Really?!?! I've never heard of such a thing... I could have them give me another SIM that I could stick in my v505 and use it when I'm in the car? What happens if I'm on one phone and try to use the other?

That'd be awesome if this was the case...

Not an option. That would only contact sim info (like saved SMS and contacts from the non SK phone). Your mobile number can not be provisioned on 2 seperate SIM cards. If you can do that then that is a miracle (and illegal). But you can not copy it to a dead (non-activated) Sim card.

there are also tons of SIM dupers on eBay that do WAY more than the ones T-Mo has in stores.

Keep in mind that cloning of cel phones is very illegal.

Yeah I'm a little skeptical to think theres a way to use two sim cards on one account... never heard of that before. I'll just have to use my SKII most, if not all of the time. Oh well to my bluetooth in my car...
