I am trying to relay ringtones to my 8900 on Telus Mobility. I can get the new ringtone I created to download to my phone but it will only download to the multimedia section of my phone & I cannot choose it as a ringtone. Is there anything I can do to to get the ringtone to download to the sound section of my phone?

Any info would be appeciated.

you have to go into the settings/sound/ringer type/ ringer.

then scroll over to your downloaded ringer.

I know how to access ringtones downloaded fron Telus but when I download a relayed ringtone that I haw uploaded to a site like freeringers.net my phone does not download it to the ringers section on my phone. It downloads it to the sound clips section of my phone which cannot be accessed fron the ringr type section of my phone. I'm wondering if I can change the folder that my phone downloads these relayed tones to.

Any suggestions?
