P9xx picture names

Does anyone know the logic behind the naming of the images in the P9xx phones? I'd like to write some scripts that sorts and renames them but can't figure out at all what the pattern is. Also, how do I force all pictures I take to always go into a specific folder? I mean, is there a way to do this?

I don't know about the name thing but with flip open you can chose where the picture goes, either on memory stick (in specific folder)or internal memory.
