I purchased my phone from Best Buy in october and i'd like to get the newest firmware to fix the volume issues. best buy and cingular both give me the run-around and refer me to each other. how do i get the newest firmware?

I read a few months ago about 800 number that gave you a quick exchange. iare these still available?

Thank you!!!! Id been searching the forums for many hours for that number. I had to tell them to check their known issus with the phone because the tech had never heard of an issue and started going through some basic troubleshooting. After he found the known issue with earpiece volume the replacement was on it's way.

I asked which firmware would be on the replacement phone, would it be 1.3? and he said .342. I hope he doesn't actually know and is just stating minimum firmware to fix the issue.
