I have bitpim installed and my LG-5400 connected via a data cable. It can read the filesystem and transfer files just fine. The only phone type that seems to upload files without errors is LG-VX4600.

I can see it uploads the files (in the way many of the manual tutorials say, by renaming the image to 'body' and generating the '.desc' file), but these do not show up on the phone one uploaded. I have read that bell (my carrier) makes things more difficult when it comes to uploading things such as wallpaper and ringtones.

Any help would be appreciated.
