BitPim ERASED contacts!

I just installed the new BITPIM for the 6100 and it erased the contacts in the OLD version of BITPIM. I did a system restore and all of the wallpapers were there but the addresses were deleted. It said something about the contacts can not be transfered to the new phone and they were auto deleted! Is there anywhere in my comp it is still hiding and I can retrieve it? It is much appreciated!

PS
old phone is no longer here. I had problems with 6100 and they tried to update the software and EVERYTHING was deleted so they replaced the phone but I need the contacts now.
