Originally posted by blueadept 1) With Bell phones you can, so it shouldn't be too different with Verizon phones. A guide will be put up shortly for Bell phones by mau108 and yours truly. 2) Not sure for Verizon, sorry. 3) About 5.25mb. Re-encode your mp3s to 48kbps at 20500. They come out around 175KB at this, and still sound pretty good. 4) Free WAP usuall uses your minutes. There are several threads on this. Try using the search feature of the board. |

Originally posted by plut I have a Audiovox CDM-8910 with Verizon service and I bought one of those Super CD's from ebay. I have been able to load midi's and mp3's as ringers through bitpim. I have like a hundred games that came on the Super CD but there were no instructions for loading them So my quetions are. 1. Can I load games on my Audiovox 8910? 2. What folder do I put the games in on the phone? 3. How much storage space do these phones have? The mp3's seem pretty big even when I chop them down to like 20-25 seconds 4. Can I get free wap on this phone? I'm sure I'll have more questions later but those should do for now. |

Originally posted by kelpike On the guide you posted, it says the phone must be a bell. Then after the Setup section, it says: Bell users click here Alltel Users click here Verizon users click here My question is. If I have a Verizon phone, should I follow the setup procedures first, then click the Verizon Users link next, or will this setup procedure not work for my phone? I guess the first thing I need to do is buy the data cable. Do I need to buy one with software or does it not matter? Thanks for any help. |

The Game Directory was named 15800 and the single file was 15800.mif Once these were transferred to the second phone, I went into the Apps section (menu-4-1). The app that i transferred did not appear in the list. I suspected this...because there is another file in the /Brew directory called config.txt That file appears to contain the menu information but...it will take more examining to understand its structure. |

Originally posted by blueadept First off, make sure that you are with Bell, and your phone has a java file system. You can tell this if it has the same directories on the phone as outlined in the tutorial. No, you do NOT unjar the file before you put it on the phone. Just put the jad and jar directly on the phone. The rest is up to the phone. |
