Why Is This Flashing?!?!?!

can anyone please help?
my d-pad is flashing yellow every five seconds. it has been for a very long time, too. i thought maybe it was flashie, but i removed that, and it is still flashing?!? does anyone have ANY idea what i have to do to get this thing to stop flashing??

Try soft reset, then hard reset

Go into Wheelie, press MENU, then select Network Beacon, then "Disable".
