I have an RPI Wireless USB charging cable for my VX6000 (it has the following stickers on it: "USB-DATA LG7000/VX6000" "USB DATA CABLE" and "With Charger").
I've tried installing the drivers from the included CD (before connecting the cable). I've tried installing the drivers from 1xexpress.com. I've tried both the 0.62 for VX6000 and 0.7.25 versions of bitpim.
Any combination of any installation always yields in my computer locking up (I'm running XP Pro).
Checking my device manager shows 3 entries for the USB device (Modems, Ports, and USB Controllers). Bitpim shows the phone on COM4 in the "Edit Settings" dialog.
The phone S/W version is T60VZ06, PRL version is 50233, ERI version is 50018 (if these are of any significance). The phone is set to use USB port with a speed of 115200.
I know the cable is good because I used it last year on an older work laptop.
Any suggestions on how I can get this working?
Thanks in advance,
T.J.
