Just a reminder to all who are receiving their new 650's -- Palm will send you a free 128 SD card.

Simply go on the website under Treo support and register for it. You'll need your serial number and the number on the back of the software CD.

If anyone with a GSM phone gets this to work please post. For me it is saying that the offer is not valid.

I have a GSM phone.

When the online site didn't take my numbers, I called the number they gave.

It was done over the phone.

It came in two days with free shipping as well. And by the way, that free card had a VFSMark of 410. Not too shabby from what I understand.
Do I use it? No, too small but free is free. I'll keep it as a backup for my digcam.

I'm glad this thread got bumped back to the top. The website wouldn't take my ID number so I called the number it gave me and the SD card is on the way. I didn't want to ask the woman taking the order, why am I getting this free?

I am getting the same error message about wrong ID number.

Called today, was told the error message is a common problem, free card is on the way.

Thanks for the link!! I now have a free 128 Meg SD Card on the way, awesome!! I just got my 650 today, ordered it direct from PalmOne, I love this thing!!! I opened it and started drooling, is that normal?

i signed up but cancelled when i saw the only shipping option to hawaii was overnight and $14.99! i can buy cheaper including shipping off of ebay. oh well...

I got 2 of them.

I registered when i first got my 650, order shipped for free 128 MB card. Had to bring it back after 2 week for a defect, just ordered another FREE one! haha
