OK. Just got my new Mazda6 on saturday. This dumb *** cat keeps getting on top of the hood to keep warm I'm assuming. I've asked the manager multiple times to either get rid of the cat or give me a discount off of a garage. Manager says the cat is a stray, thats been in the neighborhood. Frankly, I want to go outside with a box, throw it in there and take a nice long country drive. But then I slap myself and say that not humane. OK so my question is, how do you keep cats off of your vehical?
Any help would be appreciated.

Is your car outdoors? I actually have the same problem, and my car is garaged. Either a cat or a mouse.
I'm currently using liberal amounts of mothballs and fabric softener sheets. They are working to my astonishment. The smell isn't half bad either.
You could also put out some antifreeze/coolant. Do you have a guilty conscience?

If it's a stray, then you should feel no guilt throwing it in a box and taking it to the humane society. Give it a chance at a better place to sleep than your car's hood, as well as of course preserving your clearcoat.

why dont you just put that box out by you door with a towel in it and somthing for it to eat that way it will sleep in the box ond not on the hood of your car

But really, if I was able to trap the cat I would just call an animal shelter and take it away.
If your trying not to remove the cat, I guess I would just look into getting a car cover. Might be better in the long run anyways.

I wouldn't ever own a cat. And if a stray was getting on my car, I'd shoot it. If somebody's cat was getting on my car, I'd shoot the owner.
