My (direct tmobile) store just got in a new case for the 7100t! I will take a picture when I work next but basically its a leather case with a belt clip and the front is clear vinyl for seeing through to the screen and being able to still press the keys. There's an opening on the side for the scrollwheel too. There is a removeable 'clip' on the back. This is one of the first cases I've seen for the 7100 besides the OEM one.

I had a meeting with RIM last week and they showed us some new cases they were supposed to release soon. One was for the 7100t that was similar to the included case, but it had a flap that folded over the top and snapped closed to secure it better. They had multiple colors of nylon and a black leather version, but were still deciding what to bring to market. They also had a new case for the 7290 and I believe it works with the older 7230/6230s etc... It was like the plastic holster for the 6230/7230, except that only the back was plastic, with the standard rotating belt clip, and the front of the case was leather.

does it support the sleep function?

That's good news because the aftermarket has fallen down badly here.

IMHO, the case that comes with the 7100/r/t would be sufficient if it had a rotating clip.
